Pet Blogging Day

Jay Caruso has put up a bunch pf pictures of bloggers’ pets and called it Pet Blogging Day. He had asked bloggers from all over to send in pictures of their pets with some information about them. His reasoning behind the idea:
Sometimes in the middle of tumultuous times, we need to chill out a little. Take a break. The war has brought out some ugly stuff in the blogosphere these days, with tempers being short and the rhetoric reaching shrill levels.
I sent in my picture of Shorty, my new mini-Dachshund. There are tons of great pet pics and stories that are worth checking out. It definitely brought a smile and a chuckle to my day.
