Problems With OS X

I’ve been using Mac OS X since it’s public beta days back in 2000.  At first, it was so new and different, that you just ignored the GUI problems and obvious bugs.  I mean, just look at how those icons grow and shrink in the dock!

Well, 3+ years later, OS X Panther is MUCH better.  It’s a much quicker, cleaner, powerful OS.  There is no way I could go back to OS 9.  That said, there are still problems and quirks with the GUI.

Matthew Thomas has written a short, and to-the-point post on his first 48 hours with OS X.  He’s correct in most of what he writes, and I hope the interface team at Apple reads it and fixes everything on the list.
