‘Random killings’ scare Washington suburb

I agree with Glenn Reynolds on this one.  Why isn’t terrorism being looked at as an option in the killings in Maryland?  It certainly could be terrorism.  What I found a little stupid about the article was the tagline:

The killings may fuel calls for gun law reform.

Give me a break.  There may be calls for it, but the anti-gun crowd will use ANYTHING to call for gun law reform.  And besides, if this was linked to terrorism, then gun reform laws would do next to nothing to prevent something like this from happening again.

I agree these shootings aren’t “any ol’ thing”. I could have worded it better.

I still think gun control laws are a complete waste. I don’t imagine gun control would have stopped these killings from happening.
