Ridiculous Article on Jesus and Pot

This article at The Guardian (where else?) about Jesus being a cannabis user is ridiculous to say the least.  No “experts” are quoted, no names given, no organizations or research institutes given… just some stoner who SAYS he has evidence to back his claims.

To say that Jesus didn’t perform miracle healings because he was the Son of God, but instead was a stoner who figured out pot was for more than getting high is stupid and inflammatory.  It tries to cheapen a bedrock belief of an ancient religion.

On top of that, this article’s only purpose is to get a rise out of people and draw attention to their site (which I guess I’m contributing to).  The Guardian has stooped to a new low with this one.

Maybe you are blinded by the govt’s futile war on drugs, but Mary Jane isnt just for getting high, and i take your stoner remark as offensive. Do a search on google for Pot and the illnesses it helps detur and cure. Or hey, if youre like me go to www.iamm.com and listen to them… not this raving mad man.

Why would you take my stoner remark as offensive if you agree the guy is a nutjob? A little too defensive aren’t we?

Pot may be good for some illnesses, but all of the people I know who have used it (or are still using it) are complete potheads who take it simply to get stoned.
