Saddam is scared

According to the below article, Saddam has already ordered the Iraqi armed forces to be on high alert. He knows his time is up, but is going to go down fighting. What’s interesting about this article is that it quotes a former Iraqi general who defected in 1995. He says that if the US does attack Iraq, the Iraqi army would use it as a reason to turn on Saddam. This article seems to show that there are many Iraqi army personnel who do not like Saddam at all. He said they were humiliated in the Gulf War, and wanted to seek revenge on Saddam. He also warns that the longer the US waits, the more chemical and biological weapons Iraq will have and will not be afraid to use.
I am definitely for taking out Saddam, but not until we know who will be taking over and whether or not the region won’t go into a tailspin because of it. There’s no point in ousting Saddam if it will only leave the Iraqi people worse off. Of course, they can’t get much worse off.

According to this article, Saddam is trying to get biological weapons into the hands of Palestinian terror groups. If that happens, his time is up. The UN will back a US invasion and it will be bye bye Saddam. Of course, he is already on his way out, so he has nothing to lose if he uses them.
