Segways For Sale on Amazon

Amazon has the Segway scooter for sale only for a couple of days. The cost is just shy of $5000, and a non-refundable deposit of $500 is required in order to place an order. All units ordered through Amazon will be shipped no later than July 31, 2003. Amazon is also having a special contest where the winners will get their scooters before Christmas, get to tour the factory and meet Dean Kamen and his team.
I must admit, I’m just tempted enough to buy one. It would be kind of a waste around here to use, but if I were to move to another place, I could use it. Temptation… getting… stronger. Must… resist…
