Southern Iraqis Question The West

It looks like some of the Iraqis in some southern towns where the coalition forces have taken over are getting upset that there is no aid coming in yet.  I don’t blame them for questioning us either.  We promised them aid, so they expected it would be right away.

I’m not sure what they’re telling them, but I would tell them that it is on the way, but that we need to totally secure the ports and harbors before we can safely bring them their aid.  I don’t know if they’d understand or believe me, but that’s what I’d tell them.  I’d also give them as much as I could from what we already had with us.
