That Burning Feeling

Last night after work, I was pretty hungry. So instead of eating something decent, I decided I wanted to eat 6 cheddar poppers. Now, for those of you who don’t know what those are, they’re cheddar, I mean “cheddar cheese” filled jalapenos. When you eat them, they taste great. But when you eat them about 1 hour before going to bed, then they can do a number on your insides. I woke up this morning and it felt like someone was stabbing me in the gut. I drank some beer with them, hoping that would cool things down a little, but I was mistaken.
Last night we had a decent size storm roll through. It knocked down power where I work last night, so I have today and tomorrow off. It’s weird, because over here, it just rained a lot and was some minimal lightning. But in Oklahoma, there’s tons of lines down and lots of people without power.
Still no work coming in from the De Queen Web site. I was hoping that since a lot of people come into that site, I’d get some exposure and people would contact me about doing their stuff. Oh well… it has only been 1 day. Maybe I should be a little more patient?
