The Encyclopedia of Arda

If you’re a fan of the Lord of the Rings and J.R.R. Tolkein (which I most certainly am), then you must take a look at The Encyclopedia of Arda. This site is AMAZING. It’s still a work in progress, but already has a vast amount of information. If you’re at all familiar with any of Tolkein’s books, then you could literally spend hours here going through all the information.
For instance, I found out my birthday, using the calendar of the Númenoreans, would be on the 16th of Narquelië. Using the Shire calendar, it would be the 16th of Winterfilth. And to the elves of Rivendell, my birthday would fall on the 10th of Quellë.
