A great op-ed piece in the NY Times by Bjorn Lomborg, the director of the Environmental Assessment Institute in Denmark and author of The Skeptical Environmentalist. He says that the environmentalists claim the world is in a downward spiral because of over-development. They cite all kinds of examples to prove their point. Lomborg argues that the evidence doesn’t support their claims and that the Kyoto Treaty is worthless. It’s an interesting read.
