The First Snow of the Season

I woke up this morning to discover that the season’s first snow had decided to show up.  It’s been snowing non-stop since.  Sometimes it’s the pretty, heavy snowfall.  Other times it’s the nasty mixed sleet/snowfall.  I’m not sure, but I’ve heard that it should be like this through Christmas.

It’s weird.  Last night around 9pm, it was in the high 50s.  Within one hour it was easily down into the low 40s and must’ve dropped to below freezing overnight.

I don’t mind snow, especially if it’s heavy enough to look pretty and you have something to do in it, like snowboarding.  Otherwise it’s a beautiful nuisance.
