I’ve been watching and reading different news reports on the bombings in Madrid, and have begun to doubt that the bombings were the work of the ETA. UPI has a report that shows how these bombings have all the hallmarks of al-Qaeda.
The BBC is still reporting that the ETA was responsible. Fox News is running a report that al-Qaeda is now claiming responsibility.
From what I’ve seen of the bombings and the different reports, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was al-Qaeda who pulled this atrocity off. I think they’re in for a shock though. The people of Spain won’t bend to their terror tactics. And on top of that, I believe it will galvanize many European countries against al-Qaeda who will add their resources and intelligence into the fight against al-Qaeda and terrorism.
Or at least that’s what I’m hoping will happen.
down to new world order big world banks and the people who control the money in the world.and our dependince on said system.we need to get back sovern nation protect our boarders and sky from all enemys.
9/11 the faa norad and us military were playing games and i gues protecting our sky wasnt added to the game because they didnt. yes they were having war games and thats there excuse for improper protection just seems someone should go to jail or something for calling the games and leaving our airspace oppen. lets examine the games one of them was to prottect a building in virginia from guess what a jumbo jet thats hijacked by terrorist and flown into a building in i think
langly virginia. nice pratice but didnt help much.
I was beginning to have my doubts yesterday about the ETA have sole responsibilty for the attacks. The mission was far more complex and devastating than anything the ETA has done in the past. The precise use of the train schedules echos the precision timing that was used by al-Qaeda on the attacks in the US. If the ETA was responsible, it almost had to have al-Qaeda assistance.
I also read a report on the BBC earlier that said that now the Europeans may end up having a better understanding of why the US is unrelenting in it’s war on terrorism. Maybe now the Europeans will be less critical of the US and be much more suppostive. In the 70’s and 80’s, Europeans treated terrorism as a way of life, but the attacks in Madrid seems to have changed everything.
Only time will tell what road the Europeans will take.
