Of course, I went out and bought The Matrix Reloaded today, and of course we watched it tonight. I really like the movie. It’s definitely got a different tone and pace than the first movie, but it’s understandable since we’re now progressing through the story.
I enjoy the fight scenes and humor. I enjoy trying to figure out what the heck the Architect is talking about near the end. I believe I understand it, but will only really know when The Matrix Revolutions comes out in November.
Anyway… just wanted to tout how good The Matrix Reloaded is.
I agree. Revolutions was a let down. It tried to answer some of the questions brought up by the first two, but either did a miserable job at it or just swept it under the rug.
I will say that I really enjoyed the whole fight for Zion sequence though. It was intense and kept me into the movie.
Hands down the best of the three is the first one. The second one was ok, more Hollywood schtick, but it had some nifty fight scenes. The third one the worst of the lot, although it had some cool parts.
Curious, now that you have seen Matrix: Revolutions, were your questions answered?
I kind of felt like they took all the interesting stuff at the end of Reloaded and threw it out the window….
