This article should become part of a school’s drama program. It goes to great lengths trying to compare the Bush-led US with rogue states like Iraq and North Korea. It brings up the dead horses of the Kyoto Treaty and the horrors of capitalism. It also tries to make us understand that the only reason the US hasn’t attacked it’s neighbors is because of the “debilitating war in Vietnam”. But there is hope for the rogue US. The author states with all the passion of the father of the Prodigal Son that with enough world pressure and time, the US will realize it’s folly and become a “responsible member of the community again.”
I’m thinking the author of this article really wanted to be a stage actor and not a writer.
