What a difference a few minutes and a shaver makes! The picture on the right was taken Thursday night. The one on the left on Friday night. I shaved it all off on Friday morning.
I was beginning to look a little rough around the edges, plus I hadn’t been clean shaven in several years. So I decided to get rid of the scraggly beard. Being clean shaven makes me look younger, that’s for sure. Not sure if I like it though. I’ll give it a week and see if I still don’t like it.
One bad thing is it always feels like there’s a draft on my face. I hate that. Hopefully that feeling will go away soon.
Fred! What’s up, man? I’m not staring at the walls as much as we used to in Hawaii. Now I’m staring at my computer screen too much. I need a life.
A friend of mine and I found a decent looking church in Texarkana on Sunday. It looks like we’re gonna give it a shot soon. They have a pretty active singles group that has their own place to meet. If it’s good, it may motivate me enough to move down to Texarkana despite cramming my dogs into an apartment. I’d rather have a house, but you gotta make do with what you can afford, I guess.
You were seriously looking like a mountain man there for a while. I like the shaven look better. Or else keep the beard trimmed and stuff…
