USA beats Mexico!!!!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Amazing!!!! The US has beaten Mexico 2-0 to advance to the Round of 8! This is history-in-the-making, and I’m sure NO ONE expected the US to do this good.
I stayed up to watch the game, and to be honest, I expected the US to lose. But I was so very wrong. The US scored their first goal in only 8 minutes and then held on for another hour before scoring another goal! Mexico played dirty, trying to get our guys a red card, but we kept our cool. We did get one HUGE break when the referee didn’t see an obvious handball by one of the US defenders in the US’ goal. If he would’ve seen it, that would’ve been an automatic free kick and potential game tying goal.
BUT… the US won! Now we face Germany on Thursday. Woooohooooo!!!
