War Protestor Check List

This is pretty funny. I saw it over at Little Green Footballs. I have been going around looking for pictures of signs from the marches yesterday, and there are a LOT of stupid signs out there and a lot of misguided people. I saw complete disregard of facts or history, blatant anti-Americanism, anti-capitalism, pro-Saddam(ism), and misspelled or misdrawn signs. Signs comparing leaders to Hitler (but no pictures of Saddam). Not all of the signs were this bad, but there sure were a lot. And somehow, I don’t know how, some protestors turned it into a pro-Palestinian affair. Everything is about Palestine now, I guess.
After looking over literally a few hundred photos, I began to realize that most of the protestors didn’t seem to be against the war, but against the US. It was an outlet for all of the anti-US people of the world to vent their anger and bitterness. Hardly anyone seemed to give a damn about liberating Iraq or getting rid of Saddam. They just wanted to spout out their anti-US bile and impress their friends. It’s kind of sad. I know there are people who are only against the war and not against the US, but I didn’t see too many pictures that demonstrated that.
