Web-publishing System Breakdown

There’s a whole lot of people in an uproar about the new Moveable Type 3 licensing scheme, especially when it comes to the personal edition.  Lots of people are moving to other alternatives.

If you’re one of those people, I highly recommend ExpressionEngine.  I’ve tried a lot of other options, but EE is hands down the best one of the bunch.  Unfortunately, the personal license costs a fair amount.  If you were lucky enough to be among the first 1000 people to email pMachine, then you don’t have to worry about the cost.  For everyone else, Rick will be reducing the cost of the personal license for a while to let people kick the tires on EE.

For those who don’t like salesman pitches, but would rather compare the different alternatives out there, then check out the Blog Breakdown at asymptomatic.  It’s an easy way to see how they all stack up to one another.
