What Am I Physically Attracted To?

According to the match.com Physical Attraction test, the women above are the kind of women I’m naturally more attracted to. Well, they’re right. I have always been more attracted to women with darker hair, olive skin and darker eyes. Blondes just aren’t that attractive to me.
The test was quite interesting and took me about 15 minutes to take. They had me go through different pictures and quickly choose what I found either more or less attractive. Criteria ranged from eye shape to body type.
Of course, looks are only a part of the whole package. The woman could be a goddess in the looks department, but if she’s naggy, controlling/manipulative, bitchy or arrogant, I’m immediately turned off. The same goes for if she’s foul-mouthed or a smoker.
Here’s some more information from my results:
The choices you made in the test suggest you have strong, automatic preferences for certain types of women. You made your choices quickly suggesting you have clear physical instincts. A variety of features stood out as important to you.
Interestingly, a lot of the features you liked are not especially popular. They’re not what usually defines “mainstream” attractiveness for women.
It’s official: You’re “picky.” The fact is you are drawn to the most beautiful of the beautiful. You know what you like in women and are more selective than most men your age. Your tastes seem instinctual. You’d make a great casting agent, because you have a good eye for women who have “star quality.” In real life, your high standards may be an obstacle for you. It’s hard to find a woman with the strong features you like, who’s also well-rounded in other ways. Still, you know the importance of a real physical “spark” in a relationship, and aren’t willing (or able) to settle for less. The challenge is finding a woman who really wows you physically, even if she’s not the most attractive woman in the room.
According to their results, I’m so freakin’ picky that only 1% of men fall into the same category as me. When they showed how other men rated the same pictures, I was consistantly a few points lower than they were, again showing how picky I was. That’s odd, because I didn’t think I was very picky.
Their results show I was most attracted to Hispanic/Latino (35%) or Asian (25%) women. That’s right on the money.
Where they were not correct was in body type. They showed I was most attracted to skinny women, meaning darn skinny. I’ve always been most attracted to women with curves. However, they were correct that height didn’t really matter to me. I’m not even turned off by women taller than me.
Another point where they were wrong was in breast size. They claimed I was most attracted to large-breasted women. That’s not true. While larger breasts aren’t a turn-off, I’m not particularly attracted to them. In fact, breast size doesn’t mean too much to me.
To finish off, here’s some more quotes from the results:
According to the photos you selected, you like women with so-called “diamond” faces. The diamond face is usually very angular with its widest point at the temples, a somewhat short forehead, and longer tapered chin. Diamond faces are among the most common of the face shapes. Halle Berry and Reese Witherspoon have diamond faces.
You seemed especially interested in women with brown eyes. In the test, you may not have even noticed eye color on a conscious level. However, those smoldering brown eyes apparently stood out to you on an unconscious level. Supposedly, brown eyes give the impression of softness and mystery.
You have an eye for women with attractive noses. You seemed especially interested in women with what’s called a “Button” nose. These noses tend to be short in length, with a small bulb or “button” at the tip. From a profile, button noses turn slightly upward at the tip. Even though you liked women with a variety of nose types, you seemed especially drawn to women with a “cute” and approachable look, which button noses tend to convey.
You preferred women to have nice average-sized lips; not too thin and not too full. Even though thicker lips are more popular, you were not especially drawn to them. Perhaps it’s because you like very natural-looking women, without a lot of makeup. You love women with big, happy smiles. You were much less interested in photos where the women had small grins or serious expressions. Although you probably didn’t notice this tendency, the preference for big smiles fits your overall interest in women who look fun, friendly, and approachable.
Although you liked women with a variety of hair styles, you seemed to have a special interest in women with full, curly hair. Naturally curly hair is common among many ethnicities, but rarer among Caucasians. Perhaps it is the “exotic” and unique quality of these women that caught your attention. You liked women with a variety of hair cuts, but you gave special attention to women with long hair. You seem to really appreciate women with beautiful hair. It’s one of the qualities that seemed to grab your attention during the test. Deep black hair really catches your eye. In the test, you picked a definite subgroup of women who had a variety of different features and “looks,” but many had black hair. This seems to fit with your overall interest in beautiful WOMEN, not girls. Bleached blondes and highlights are not nearly as appealing to you as a woman with her rich, natural color.
If you’ve read this far, I commend you. Please don’t think I’m a sexist pig-dog who only thinks with his crotch. I found the results interesting and wanted to share them. Remember, this was only a physical attraction test. Like I said before, looks are important, but they are most certainly not everything.
