Which Podcasts Do You Listen To?

When I first heard about podcasts, I didn’t see what the big deal was. I thought it was cool that anyone could create their own podcast and be heard by potentially millions of people, but I didn’t think there would be that many interesting topics to talk about.

Now that iTunes supports podcasting, I thought I’d check out what’s out there. The first one I subscribed to was Adam Curry’s Podfinder. In each episode, he highlights other interesting podcasts from around the world. Some of them suck, others are quite interesting and funny.

An example of an interesting one which I enjoy is The Richard Vobes Radio Show. Richard’s show covers all kinds of topics and is co-hosted by his young daughter.

I’m still looking for other interesting podcasts, so if you have some favorites, tell me (and others) about them.

I have not really got into podcasting even though I have downloaded a few through iTunes. There is just something about me that is not very conducive to listening and only listening to people without some other kind of interaction. I was terrible in lectures at college, I would doodle, sleep, flirt with the cute girl a few seats over…but actually paying attention and taking notes was really quite difficult. Radio shows tend to bore me as well even with the crazy antics of some of the personalities.

Ravi Zacharias, one of the most notable modern Christian apologists, has two excellent podcasts. Just search “Ravi Zacharias” in iTunes. In fact, all of these are in iTunes, but I’m not sure how to link there and I don’t want to put the actual xml link in the comments.

I really enjoy Earthcore: A Podcast Novel, though its almost done. Scott has a new one on the way called Ancestor. The writing isn’t stellar, but the delivery is.

I also like the Christian and the Atheist, but they haven’t had a new podcast in over a month.

And last, but not least… okay, this is a little embarrassing. I like Warcraft World, a podcast about, well, not hard to guess.

I used to listen to the Bitterest Pill, but it got old after a while.

Oh cool! I didn’t know there was a podcast on WoW. I’ve been slacking on WoW lately. I haven’t been on in almost two weeks! My main is sitting within spitting distance of level 60 and I’ve been ignoring him. I’ll probably get him to 60 this weekend.

I’ll also check out the other podcasts you mentioned, Les.
