Cool~~ I’m from Austin, too. Definitely Southern! I lived in an area called Volente. Back then (1970s) Volente was small and basically just made up of some weekend homes for retired people and a few hippie families. We actually lived right on the end slope of Lake Travis. We owned 8 acres of lakefront which was great! I went back to Volente a few years ago to find out it is now super-expanded and developed and called “Volente Beach” with a waterpark and everything. It’s huge! Talk about changes!!

Yeah, that quiz is over a year old, so the host probably took it down.

And Austin has definitely changed since I grew up there. It’s WAY too crowded now. The traffic gets worse each time I visit there. I miss some things about it, but it’s not the same city I remember anymore.
