How many times do I have to tell you?  Saddam doesn’t have any ties to terrorists!!

“Terrorists” target civilians. Suicide bombers who blow up soldiers are… soldiers.

None of the volunteers interviewed said they were going to “carry out suicide bombings,” anyway. They said they planned on becomeing martyrs, which, believe it or not, is NOT a “euphemism for suicide attacks.”

Maybe you should check the OED?

They ARE planning on killing themselves, which is suicide.

You would have a good point on the targeting civilians vs. targeting soldiers aspect if most of the attacks weren’t on civilians.
